Let these quotes to inspire travel encourage you to go explore the world!

This is very true. Just look at Elizabeth Gilbert’s travel memoir ‘Eat Pray Love’. Whether it be a snowy mountain on a skiing holiday in the French Alpes, my first pint of Spotted Cow in Wisconsin (yes this is a real thing), the architecture in Valencia or war memorials in Berlin, I am constantly in awe of all the wonderful new experiences I have. Each moment leads to stories full of wanderlust to bore your family and friends with. Or even better, you can inspire your new fellow travel mates that you have met along the road.

Ironically, in my case I am more often lost than not while travelling. Seriously though, I don’t usually feel like I fit in anywhere but somehow, while wandering the world, I feel less lost than I ever usually do. It’s almost as if the opposite happens, I feel like I’m finding myself.

I know it can be hard deciding to go but it is absolutely worth it. The concern about not being safe is an issue but just be aware of your surroundings as you would anywhere. Another concern I read about often is what people close to them will think. Of course, the typical thing to do in life is a job 5 days a week with roughly 4 weeks holiday a year. This means your family may not understand the desire to take of and travel the world as this isn’t what is expected of you. But aren’t we brought up to do what makes us happy? So if you want to travel, then make the decision and that is the hard part over.

Yes. I have always been myself but feel even more able to be completely 100% myself while out exploring new places. I feel accepted and not judged by anyone I meet. Although, even if I did, I care less because it doesn’t matter. The people I meet aren’t my family or people in my class who I have to see most days. Most importantly they don’t know others that know me. We are all strangers to each other so I find that people I meet while travelling are genuine and more carefree. This makes it easier to become who you were meant to be in the first place.

At first it can feel terrifying travelling alone. Once you start though, you soon feel strong enough to go anywhere and do anything. You start to feel more content and relaxed as you realise you are more than capable of achieving whatever you want to achieve.

I hope these quotes to inspire travel fuel your wanderlust enough to get you to either start travelling or to continue travelling. If travel is what you want to do, then don’t let anything or anyone hold you back!
